About Me
Hi there,
I'm Daniel Buckner - a game producer, solutions-oriented project manager, and lifelong gamer, based in Austin Texas.
I’ve always been drawn to the power of games to tell unforgettable stories, build immersive worlds, and bring people together. From the dusty trails of Red Dead Redemption 2 to the galactic battles of Mass Effect, my favorite games have shaped how I think about character, consequence, and emotional impact.
In Summer 2025, I completed my Game Design education at Austin Community College, where I served as the Producer for Faelock, a mystery narrative game built in Unity. Throughout Faelock's development I led team coordination, tracked milestones, and created playtesting documentation—and utilized tools like Linear, Jira, and Trello to keep the team aligned and moving forward. I also collaborated closely with our artists, designers, and even voice actors from the drama department to bring the project to life.
Before diving into game development, I built a foundation in project coordination across the tech and energy sectors—tracking budgets, drafting SOWs, and managing vendor relationships. Whether it’s helping a team hit a production milestone or crafting a branching dialogue system for a game, I bring structure, empathy, and a get-it-done attitude to everything I do.
Lastly in October 2025, I earned my SCRUM Master Certification with ScrumAlliance. Officially cementing my professional experience with Agile Methodologies while supporting technology clients professionally and while building Faelock. -
